Unfortunately the hones that I've been able to get all have the
oval holes in them and that means that the glass likes to slide
into those holes and not get cut well.
I've had better luck with them by breaking the plastic off of the
back and curving them for edging glass tho.    I've got a little
mention of that in my lens making article that I wrote myself on
my website.  A grinding machine works veryu nicely there.
