[ATM] Silvering telescope mirror's

To some on the list, Silvering, or putting a silver coating on the surface of a telescope mirror is available to the ATM to do himself,.. with a little chemistry background.
James Learch will guide you through this process on his website. But James' has no silvered mirrors..If you go further into his process of "madness" you will realize that he worked through the historic process into the future..."ALUMINIZING" ...Silver is great for coins and eating utensels....This is 2008 not 1908.. Hey if you want to get nostalgic and make some glass silver plate's to make some "old time glass negative's" , Cool... Coating your masterpiece with silver will be hard to do- correctly, and even done well will not last between observations...of the seasons. Pay a little money and have your mirror "ALUMINIZED" , It just sounds like the future, maybe it's just me.......Russ Jocoy
