Re: [ATM] Mirror silvering



John Strong in "Procedures in Experimental Physics" describes a method of
"Lacquering" a mirror using collodion dissolved in ether to protect a
silver coating from tarnishing.  I haven't tried this method but it
should work.  "Procedures in Experimental Physics"  is a gold mine of
useful info.  I don't  know if it's still in publication ( 1st
Prentiss-Hall edition published in 1938, my copy is the 17th printing in
August 1952) but if you can find a copy, grab it.
