i don't recall what it was that i read but this is similar to what i alluded to
in my response in this thread a few days back... for some reason, i've been
thinking of alum infused cloth but i haven't taken the time to try to confirm
that alum is what i was thinking of...
in any case, most real silver silverware sets have some kind of cloth with them
that you keep the silverware wrapped in so as to prevent tranishing (aka
corroding)...
the answer sought to the question asked is what is this cloth treated with...
find that out and you'll have the answer to slowing the tarnishing of a silvered
mirror ;)
