Conformal coatings are used all the time on electronics. I
assume that you're talking about a PCB rather than a PC
compputer. I wouldn't do a PC computer as there is too much heat
being generated by some of the chips to worry about dew on the
board of one.
Others have mentioned more regular paints of the clear variety
but I'd rather not do that as there may be some part of the paint
that is conductive and water may make it a lot more conductive
and that could be a disaster as you'll never be able to get the
paint off of the board well enough when you find out that it is
indeed too conductibe.
I've also seen two part RTV silicone used for, in this case
mechani9cal vibration reduction, and you can also use that.
Best is to drop by an electronics store and get some of the real
stuff. You'll also be able to find it online without any
problems. Mouser, digikey and others like that have it. The G0C
line of products is a good line for chemical stuff.
