Re: [ATM] mirror pinching

The thickness of the mirror is of 16mm, so the ratio is 1/10.
After all the readings on this list ,I am thinking about a six point PLOP
cell , RTV glueing the mirror to the "points",avoiding the need for laterall
support. But mirror pinching is coming back.
Wich pinching is wors, the one from laterall support or that due to RTV
glueing? I can avoid in some other way pinching of the mirror?
  Regards,Mircea

>From what I've Heard RTV will very, very rarely pinch the optics. If, when
you "glue" the mirror to the supports it is resting on top of them with
small spacers in between the mirror and cell there should be nothing to
pinch or putt and you should be good. With RTV and small/light mirrors there
is also no need for mirror clips (unless you really want them). Hope that
helps.

Good luck!
