Foucault testers are easy to make!
The Stelafane one is a good example of a simple yet accurate
tester head.  For the dial indicator, I'd sugget that you go to
Harbor Freight, if there is one near you, or order it by mail, a
dial indicator.  They often have them on sale for about eight
dollars on sale.  I have a few pictures of one that I've used in
my camera article on my website.  If you want to add in a
camerea, I've been to Thrifty drug storees and found they have a
security camera setup for thirty five dollars that just needs a
TV to complete.
For the TDE that you have, if you can't get it with the mirror on
top, turn the tool and mirror the other way around and work the
outer part of thee mirror and that is another way to make it go
away.  I'll note that from your Ronchi images that your TDE isn't
very much
