Molten soda lime glass is viscous.  Molten Pyrex is notoriously more 
viscous than molten soda lime glass.

Molten soda lime glass is very hot.  Molten Pyrex is notoriously hotter 
than molten soda lime glass.

I think it might be entertaining to watch your experiment from several 
yards distance.  Somebody else will have to do the video, I don't own a 
video camera.  I'll bring the beer though.

One thing.  When (not if) it catches fire, don't throw water on it.

Another thing.  You need to try this when your wife is out of town.
