Remember that the torque doesn't go up on a DC motort as you slow
it down!  You just go slower and that means thatt the torque that
you had at 15R{M is as much as you will have at 1RPm.  You won't
be able to drive the larger mirror awith that setup if it was
just sufficient at the higher speed on the smaller mirror.
