[ATM] Is this a good deal?

I had to get tires on the car today so I had an hour to kill wandering 
around.  I went into one of the junky discount stores in the area and there 
were a bunch of Meade eypieces on the shelf for $30.  New in the box with a 
plastic case.

They are series 4000 12.4mm Super Plossl.  They are the same as the ones

I am going to build a 10" reflector with a planned lenght of F6.

Would this eyepiece be a good one to pick up to start the collection?  If 
they are junk I would rather put a bit more into something useful.
