I want my ground shaft (2 thousand under 3/4 inch) to fit exactly (turn with no play) in a hole drilled through a 1/2 inch thick 6061 alum. plate.  I have a drill press - but no mill or lathe.  Is an adjustable reamer the way to go?  Any help regarding this is greatly appreciated.
