Can you use your photometer near the radius of curvature with a known light 
source? Get a reading at focus, then move sideways a bit at a time.

I'd like to see both! What is the comparison? Test a polished mirror, get it 
aluminized, test again. Remove the aluminum, check the polish, get enhanced 
aluminum, test again.

Or is that your intent?
