Thanks Cord. It would be good to see a diagram but I think I can
see the wood for the trees. 8 weighted levers, eaching asserting
force at the mirror edge toward the centre. From the top of my
head, it looks like each assembly would have to assert a force
of M/2, so when the OTA is horizontal with one assembly at the
lowest position, its mass M is balanced by three assemblies M/2
+ 2*M/4 = M, yes?
