You have to admit that those are good enough reasons to use a barlow.  You 
may not have met the objective you thought you were meeting, but jacking up 
your power and extending your eye relief are good enough reasons to use your 
barlow.  I guess if you want to use a barlow and improve your coma, you can 
use the TeleVue Paracore and call it a 1.15X barlow.  ;o)
