Hi !
My experience shown that, if the focal ration is fast like f/5 and the
mirror diam. is about 10" or bigger. Than it is more difficult to
press the mirror in the pich, and you need more pitch, when you use
flat substrate. That's all,
otherwise you can use it if once the tool is ready. Actually my
friend uses always flat substrates. If you need to regringd, than you
don't need to scrub away the pich from the tool.
