Supporting the mirror by its retaining clips will warrant trefoil
kind of deformation. Supporting it by the complete edge
will warrant additional spherical aberration term.

The best way is to hang it in its cell, RTVd to cell 
support points. Retaining clips not used but present as a safety feature
as explained by Jeff Baldwin's recent post.
