Re: [ATM] masking for aluminizing



Hi All,

1. If you do use high vacuum grease, very sparingly (think thin)
2. Kapton tape works but not easily obtainable and expensive. (We have 
used it in the shop up to 300 deg C )
3. Regular old masking tape works as long as it doesn't get hot.
4. Plastic tape (not electrical tape is a better cheap choice for tape.)

Now a question, what don't you want coated?
