      I'd be throwing that glass at the nearest hard object and go looking for a broom. The "S" curve shown in the photo is letting you know there is a LOT of stress in the glass. Have you done a "crossed Polarixer" test to see the stress in the glass?

Or something like that.

      That's true but... I think what you are experiencing was not POLISHED into the surface of the glass, rather it's part of the glass itself. I'd not waste time on glass showing so much distortion on the testing stand.
