Great scope!  Very well planned an executed.

I wonder how large the altitude bearings are?  Also, does each of the 
poles come apart into sections, or is each one piece?  That's my main 
concern with a travel scope - getting the poles into manageable pieces.

And it reminds me of my finished 13"x7/8" Pyrex mirror that needs a 
home.  It too will get a 6-pt mirror cell, and the scope may end up as 
a "travel scope", but it will definitely be my "grab and go" 
lightweight telescope for when I don't feel like lugging out something 
heavier.

I am finishing (wood finishing) a 10" F/5.5 and I will have a web page 
up describing it in the coming weeks.  Its mirror and the 13" are on 
their way to the coater now.
