At one time I was seriously considering building an RC cass optimized for 
CCD imaging, and I found it was really easy to crank out corrector designs 
with excellent theoretical performance. It appeared that tolerances on the 
corrector were extremely forgiving too.

You may find that you can use commercial lenses. I came up with some 
designs where I first created the corrector design, then added catalog 
lenses with close to the specified curvatures and tweaked spacings and 
other parameters. Some of those were almost as good as a fully optimized 
design.
