If you're trying to reproduce a commercial design try using an f/2 primary.
If you're thinking about something buildable by an amateur of course this
probably makes more sense.

Something tells me that's more marketing hype. That looks suspiciously like
a spot diagram over a curved field. And of course they probably had a good
reason not to show a spot diagram for more than one wavelength.
