[ATM] ATM: Converting Schmidt camera to CCD

I remember reading (in book on building a copy-scope) that projection lenses 
make wonderful (and inexpensive) good quality eyepieces for telescopes.  The 
following lens is on ebay:

I have a very fast 7" diameter f/0.5 objective lens stack (simular to a 
schmidt camera) that I cannot wait to try it on.

If  I'm correct it takes a two and a half inch image and reduces it to about 
a third of an inch size. If I'm off base, someone please stop me before I 
bid again.
