[ATM] Amature Telescope Maker's Repeat

To all on the list, I am sure that the information conveyed in the past two
weeks were at
the least,.... interesting to those with the knowledge of the deep ,
intense, and experimental
end of optical dreams or the drive to achieve the ultimate Telescope.
I find it interesting to look at the figures, the foucalt readings,
the hyroglyphic's of the process
of making a telescope mirror.... but to the amature just tuneing in... He
scroll's down to read text
that make's some kind of sense to him.
Don't get me wrong, this forum is for the advancement of the amature
telescope maker, and
the advanced telscope makers then advance beyond the basic stuff and go into
the " next zone"..
Sometimes it seems as though the stream of the list cannot break out of
the " next zone" that
the newbie's cannnot understand... I am not saying to "dumb" it down but
when you return a
reply "please" don't list the previous message in it's entirety... Some
return messages are one
paragraph , with a hanger of the first message 2 pages long.. You can
delete the majority of
the text , if you take the time.... Hey, I have been on this list for a
while, and by no means am
I trying to preach, but the "Gate Keeper" has mentioned this problem
before..........
I have said before that I love this list, and that I love the information
that can be pulled, and
pushed into it.. I myself love the depth and the testing, the photos of
interferomic readings,
the videos of a mirror becomming a sphere, and then a parob... The ronchi
photos, the foucault
photos, Hey... wait a minute,.. I'm in the 70% zone trying to explain
something I don't know...
damn... On 2nd thought .... Let the Newbie's figure (yes figure) out whats
going on........., please pay no attention
to the man behind the curtain..... ..... and get rid of that little dog!!!!,
and the long trailers of previous messages.....We have all read them one
time, that is enough....
                                                     Russ Jocoy
