Next time you may want to investigate the 3 wheel type bender for the
tubing.  Two stationary wheels on one side and a movable one on the other
side all with a form on the edge to hole the tubing in place.   The thing
that is nice about this method is that it can be done slowly if so desired
and get to the diameter that is desired by repeated runs through the set of
dies or wheels.
