ok, Im a little excited lol.  yes first mirror syndrome here lol.  I took my 
6" f7.4 mirror after polishing for 4 hours and put it onto my ronchi tester, 
printed out some 100lpi grating, although i dont believe the quality was 
great on the printout. remeasured my ROC, aligned everything, and took a 
peek.  Now I would like to have seen something, even just a little 
something, but I never expected to see the full mirror lit up red!  I stood 
up, looked at the mirror in the dark and it was not lit, then back down and 
got an eye full of red and ronchi lines lol lol. yea, Im a newbie!!  woke 
the wife up from the couch and showed her, she did the same thing and then 
told me that was a kool trick lol lol.  I tried to expain it to her, but I 
screwed it up lol lol.   Anyways, the lines looked wigglie, jagged best 
describes them, and I beleive a possible TDE from the matching ronchi 
photos.  So, I am not sure if it is fully polished out, or if my printed 
grating is just jagged.  Should I make a fishing line ronchi instead? Does 
anybody have any recommendations as to about how long I should polish for?  
If I can get my web cam working, Ill take a photo of this and submit it for 
judgment.
