ATM possible aurora? (OT)

There's just been a sudden impulse in the geomagnetic field at 01.45UT
(20.45 US EST) (see the Canberra magnetometer at http://tinyurl.com/d0cz
) Unfortunately it's still bright daylight here in Oz.  Too early to
tell how big the effect will be, but those where it's dark (and clear
:-) might like to take a look in the north.
