I'd not limit myself to just a plossl EP as others such as an Erfle design
may be better for the scope.  There are lightweight EPs available from
places like Surplus Shed and others in the 2" size and ones like the Rini
ones are made quite light compared to other EPs available.
I'll note that the larger the glass, the heavier the EP is going to be
anyway.  In addition, you want to have a wide angle EP as you want the
larger FOV for the scope.
