ATM pitch mold, opinions needed

Hello to all,

the board seems to have so much good advice on pitch, melting and so forth.  
I have had a few people come up and say, "hey, I use a mold, and you can get 
it from here".  I have also seen a web site that shows you how to make your 
own mold.  although the cost is about the same.
  so to the board,  do many of you use a lap mold?  if so, can you let me 
know where you get them and how well they work over making the lap by hand.  
If you dont want to reply due to a "plug" for a company, please feel free to 
email me directly.  I am making a 6" as a practice mirror, and the main 
mirror will be a 16" for me this spring.  to date, those are all the mirrors 
I will need.   I was totally unaware that a mold existed until last night 
when it was suggested to me from a person on the board.  sounds like a good 
thing.
