1. I suspect it didn't really come from me, though it is not impossible.  I run 
regularly updated antivirus software on both my machines, and have both 
software and hardware firewalls.  The email worm type viruses have gotten 
pretty good at lifting email addresses from whatever machine they infect, so 
the virus only has to be on the machine of anyone who has both my address and 
the list address somewhere (probably an email address book) on the same machine.

2. Just in case 1. is wrong, what was the name of the detected virus?  I will 
try to do a scan specifically for it.
