   OK guys,
I don't know weather to rant or laugh.I see the new NASA program announced 
by heir to the mentally challenged as both death-warrant and legal 
insanity.Kindly explain how ditching the only working element of our space 
program for an un-tested and non-funded program is going to bring on the 
Second Coming,lower taxes, and find little green men.I'am not up on 
everything that goes on in the outside world.I look at the shuttle thru the 
eyes of a boy who grew up in the shadow of Mercury smoke and Voyager 
heel-dust.I remember meeting and observing with guys like Harold Povenmire 
and Greg Zentz,(author of Jupiter's Ghost). Now this idiot dubbed dubya is 
going to shut the whole thing down for a few votes.I know this is not an 
arena for politics.I apologize for this Mike.So it would probably be best 
if you all replied to me off-list.I love astronomy and NASA.Anyone that 
would be so numb as to extinguish the last remaining candle that has kept 
us from a new dark ages,is indeed a monster.
