RE: ATM telescope making books
Hi,
Stipe:
>I would like the Texerreau 1,
If you refer to the first edition, it is out-sold since a very very long
time, and it is in French.
I happen to have a partial photocopy (the part about primary mirror making)
if wanted.
The second edition is available at Willmann-Bell, in English.

Yes and No. Yes you will get a lot of good or even
better-than-the-book advices through internet and the
ATM list, but you have to make it a whole picture and it
is where I find the books are superior. Especially the
Kriege and Berry book which taught be quite a lot and
allowed to build a working 20", even if after second
thought I would do several things... differently
(I wanted to say "better", but this depends on the criteria).
So I would say:
- when you start, use a mix of 2/3 books + 1/3 internet
- when you get used to it, reverse the ratio :-)
Does it make sense?
