Hi Marco

 My guess is you are working with the wrong codec for either Astrovideo or
FitsX to recognize. Your best bet is to browse the Yahoo groups, such as
QCUAIG, where the authors of thee freeware could give you specific
advise.

Hello All.

I apologise for a non telescope-making question, but am sure someone here
will know the answer.

I took some AVI movie footage of  saturn and the moon with my
canon powershot A70 (at 640 * 480). I have downloaded astrovideo
and FitsX. However when I try to process my avi files to select the sharpest
images the screen comes up blank and nothing appears to have happened!

I even tried to load the saved .fit file into fitsX and still the screen is
blank!
I know the movies are good because i've watched them in realplayer.

Does anyone know what is happening?
