	It won't help. So even if it doesn't hurt it is a waste of cerium
oxide. A pitch lap doesn't "wear" like an abrasive grinding wheel. It flows.
The cerium oxide embedded within the pitch that is not at the surface of the
pitch will never be at the surface and will never polish you glass.

I successfully refrained from asking the obvious question. If you were going
to do that with the cerium oxide, why not mix the water in at the same time
you are mixing the pitch and cerium oxide?
