Keith, i  make  the  mirrors  2  years  already.Dont  worry, just  go
ahead. What  you  need  to  do  is  just  put  a  thin  layer  of  mixture
of  water  and  CeO  on  the  mirror  and  pitch  lap  and  make  a  good
contact  by  hot  pressing; than  start  to  polish  and  after  some  20
minutes  of  polishing  you  will  see  that  the  pitch  is  not  black
anymore. It  is  now  something  like  lightbrown  and  orange. That  is
because  the  CeO  is  now  getting  a  thin  layer  on  the  pitch
surface.
