ATM Focuser stepper motor control

I have laid out a couple of PC boards that I plan to test this weekend.

One uses a PIC509 driving an octal buffer for unipolar stepper, with
programming to set the step rates.

The other uses a NE555 driving a MC3459 for a bipolar stepper. The step rate
is set by the RC components on the 555

Both should work as a simple foward/reverse drive with high and low speed,
pushbutton controlled and are very compact.

I'll post the details on my website after I test the circuits for anyone
that might be interested.
