Re: ATM surface accuracy
Hello,
>can anybody tell me how to measure the surface accuracy of a mirror less
than (lambda/4)
>I have a referance flat of (lambda/20) and (lambda/10)
... so I assume the mirror you want to test is also a flat?
I can point you to a good web site:
http://serge.bertorello.free.fr/plan/plan.html#controle
sorry it is in French.
If your reference flat is 1/20 wave (on the wavefront or the surface?) you
might test the other flat to about the same accuracy with the fringes
method.
I am on my way to apply this method but my disks are not fine-ground yet,
so I cannot commnet further.
Best regards,
Hugues
