ATM temperature considerations--Gugolz 64

Is it feasible to store my lap in the garage and polish at ambient
temperature during winter?  I have an attached garage that I am using for my
ATMing.

My first polishing session today went well--ambient temp was around 60
degrees.  A major cold front is moving through right now (Kentucky) and will
really drop temperatures.  I am sure it will not get below freezing in the
garage, but I know it will be in the upper 30s to low 40s during really cold
weather.  I don't know if I can stand putting the lap in storage until
warmer weather arrives.  Anyone know of a link to a good article regarding
pitch and temperature considerations?  Thanks in advance.  Rodney
