Darryl, first try a stroke which I have found useful. The stroke is as
follows:
the two hands one in front of the other rather than side by side,
the stroke is from the 1/3 off towards you to centered on the tool,
the force on the mirror is on the side towards you and is intended to scrub
the peak off of the 70% zone area and bring it down to the level of the
edge.
Your other choice is to do a chordal stroke with the TOT orientation. This
will tend to move the edge areas down and will blend the turned edge to the
rest of the surface.
