Re: ATM Corning optical glass
The glass is listed in my list of B&L glasses as a crown glass with all of
the various indices as needed to do a design. It is somewhat close to K01
in the OHara glasses as well but not exactly the same.
Without the melt papers, the B&L numbers should do very nicely for a
starting point to making a decent telescope.
FWIW, I may be interested in the glass if it is 12" in diameter as I already
have a Flint and a Short Flint glass that may go decently well with it but I
haven't done a raytrace to find out if it really is right.
If the glass is in the 8" diameter or a little less, I have a piece of DF4
with a sharp curve in one side that you may find quite useful for making a
decent doublet of fair quality. The glass is 8 1/2" in diameter and is
approx. 1" thick in the center and has a gentle convex on the other side.
