Tracy,
this seems similar to a mount I'm working on. With mine the triangle is
supported only on the three points, each of which can be moved up and
down by the stepper. By driving the steppers appropriately you can
rotate the platform around any axis you wish without mechanically
changing anything.
I like the "scissor jack" device for tilting the corners, I was trying
to do it directly with vertical lead screws, the scissor approach should
fix a lot of the problems my original version had.
