I was intrigued by the Mak design. Is it something that can be attempted by
a not very expert at mirror making?
Where can  find data on design of a Mak?

Happy New Year, Ulhas!
"Advanced Telescope Making Techniques" by Allen MacIntosh is a compilation of a series of letters of a club interested in making maks. If my memory serves, the club was formed to mass order blanks in order to bring down the price...
   It's advanced.
The corrector in a mak is made with two deep curves with optical centers which must be kept on axis.  IOW, the correcting lens can't have much wedge. At all.
I don't want to discourage you, but I would rather attempt a Lurie Houghton, or a Cassegrain first.
