This excepcional non astronomic event ,never happens again.I used a CNE
(Common Non-Erotic)Ronchi Grating and Melīs ronchigram software.The mirror
was returned to my dealer (not my dealer ever more).
My wife forced me to build a dob mount stopped from 30š  to 90š alt ....for
only astronomical purposes

You might be on to something here.  It sounds as if you could determine
overcorrection after viewing nearby heavenly bodies.  Since seeing
conditions would hopefully be less dependant on the upper atmosphere, this
could displace the star test (at least in terms of personal preference).

Have you been able to repeat the readings?  It's not science until you
repeat it.

I still remember the first  light of my first 10", three years ago, l I
haven`t made a rough dobson mount still.   I rest the tube on the sofa
and I could see a nice girl in top-less in her swinming pool , by
chance .I swear!! :-) .That night I could see that the mirror has
severe overcorrection too. :-(
