ATM Dream Machine (was Horseshoe Mounts)

A couple of people now have suggested a trailer. No muss, no fuss, and
setting up is a snap. A big deal as my back gets older. I've got to admit
when I see a well built trailer, large wheels, steel construction, better
than average suspension, I do take notice. And then there are those nasty
buts. The car I drive isn't rated for towing. I know, get a bigger car.
Having occasionally been behind an undersized trailer bouncing down the
road, I worry. And of course, I've never been any good at backing up with
one of those things attached.

The dream machine involves a pickup, extendible outriggers to stabilize and
separate the 42 inches of aperture from the truck bed, a bunch of
computers, several grand of CCD, a place to sleep, a satellite up-link, and
so on. But, (there it is again) it seems unlikely I'll give up eating and
heating the house to do it.

PS Richard, I did a search on Jim Strogen, but the only thing I could find
him associated with was a lawn mower. Anyone know if his horseshoe is
pictured somewhere?
