ATM 10" Flex Mirror

Hi,

I have a Dan Cassaro 10" plate glass mirror polished out to a good
sphere, ready to be coated and flexed.  However, I am now having second
thoughts.  There are a couple of pretty large scratches on the back,
which is how the blank came from Dan.  I didn't think much about them,
but now I am concerned that one or more of them will develop into
fractures when subjected to 130lbs of flexing force.  What do folks
think about the chance of fractures?  Is it too late to grind them out
without destroying the figure?  Should I bag the flexing and
parabolize?  Thanks.
