Mel, what I meant was that the baffles at the UTA would have to be larger and
extend higher than for a non-folded newt, affecting balance and wind
resistance, and light to the eyepiece would be hitting such baffles at an
angle, rather than almost straight on. The original poster asked about any
drawbacks. That is one. Not necessarily a "problem", but a drawback.
