Did a 18 inch f/2.8 cass with a 4 inch rough cut star
lap.Nothing fancy about the edge shape. Used rouge for
the final hour or so and got a very smooth surface.

One f/2.8 mirror in a lifetime is enough thanks..:))

It's not needed...with the amount of correction
necessary you start "figuring" at the begining of
polishing if you hadn't rough ground in the curve.
