Hello Mel
down loaded your program but I have a question or 2. I believe I understand
"mirror diameter" and "focal ratio". I think I understand "diagonal size"
(wouldn't the diagonal size be the same for a folded reflector as it is for
a standard newtonian)but am stumped on "focuser + tertiary flat height.
Isn't the tertiary mirror the flat mirror that will reflect the light cone
back down the tube toward the primary to a traditional diagonal that then
reflects the image out the side of the tube through the focuser? If this is
correct I would assume the tertiary flat height would be measured from the
top of the primary. Anyhow I must be doing something wrong. Anyhow if you
have a moment could you briefly explain the data needed? Sorry for causing
trouble. Amelia
