Hi Roger, I'm interested too! I've often pondered the benefits of casting, but have no backround. My 1st question is: can you coat the surface with aluminum, without an "out gassing" problem? I think this ATM list IS a good place to "talk" about casting, as it opens up new alternatives and gets the old brain juices flowing along many lines. Jeff
