Not sure if the comment is true on the poorer scattered light situation, but
I experienced an interesting situation collimating a friend's 16" with
Endurobright coatings. I was using my laser collimator (680nm) and could
not see any trace of a red dot on the primary!!!!!!!! It was only after the
primary eventually collected a small amount of dust would the red dot show
up.....
That sure impressed me! (maybe I am just easily amused/impressed??)
