He's more looking at a long FL scope of very short lenght. A
Lurie at that focal length really isnt' a workable proposition as
the corrector really isn't necessary in such a case as the
spherical primary itself will easily meet the criteria of an
excellent surfacce.
FWIW, I do remember some design done by somebody that was a four
reflection with only two surfaces. I don't remember where I saw
it but it was pronblably some professional trying to design a
"perfect system" with a high magnification. Searching through
the ADS list of Journals may pop it up as that may be where I saw
it. It may have even been an off-axis design.
